Speaker 2:Greetings climate deniers. If you listen to, read or watch anything coming from the climate alarmists, their hysterical warnings of dreadful consequences caused by global warming and climate change are always based on a scientific consensus. They insist that the science is settled and refuse to listen to opposing opinions. They demand action. Have you ever noticed how leftists are always demanding something? They also claim we must act now, as the majority of scientists agree with them? Well, claiming a scientific consensus and the science is settled is just ridiculous. But then again, to quote Richard Linson, everything about this is sort of nuts and according to Dr Linson, there are three groups of people dealing with this climate issue. Group 1 are scientists that are associated with the United Nations International Panel on Climate Change, the IPCC, their assertion that our use of fossil fuels releases too much CO2 into the atmosphere and with this cult-like belief that this will eventually heat the earth to dangerous levels. Now, group 2 is made up of scientists who don't see this as much of a problem and are often referred to by Group 1 as skeptics. Group 3 are the politicians, the environmentalists and the media and, as I have said before and as Dr Linson points out, this climate change hogwash provides politicians with money and power. Environmentalists with money for their organizations and recognition for their cult-like belief that man is a destructive force. And, ultimately, hands-to-media scenarios of doom and gloom headlines that make them money. Scenarios of doom and gloom headlines that make them money. And, according to Dr Linson, group 3 is winning the argument by drowning out the serious debate that should be happening, and on this point he is right. I would also add, group 3 sees opportunities for pushing their socialist agendas.
Speaker 2:However, I am starting to see a change, a sort of awakening. For instance, if you search for podcasts about the climate, 90 plus percent of them are the views, opinions and demands of the alarmists. However, I have noticed many of these alarmist podcasts are no longer current. Some of these shows' last episodes are two and sometimes three years old. What happened are two and sometimes three years old. What happened?
Speaker 2:Well, now that Group 2 has their own voice through conservative media and podcasts not unlike this one, the pragmatic population in this country are pushing back, and our refusal to obey infuriates Group 3 to the point of doing some really stupid things. Just recently, a bunch of climate wackos decided to block a major highway around DC, demanding Biden stop the use of oil and gas. These idiots are the product of a constant barrage of doom-and-gloom fear porn put out by the WEF and other leftist organizations. Most of these domestic terrorists are nothing but angry old hippies left over from the 60s. It may even be actors hired by extremist groups like, oh, the Democratic Party.
Speaker 2:Regardless, I would like to point out the seriousness of such a dangerously stupid act. What if someone needed to get to an important job interview? By the way, that actually happened. What if your loving husband or wife of 40 years was having a heart attack? What if a woman was having her baby and it was breach? What if an ambulance was rushing a dying patient to the hospital? What if some psychopath decides to empty a couple of clips at motorists trapped in their very un-bulletproof cars? I'm sure you can think of some very serious outcomes. But the point is, you climate alarmists unfortunately have the right to your opinion and the right to protest. You do not have the right to cause, or potentially cause, harm to others while you throw your little tantrums. By the way, it is also illegal. Three of them refused to leave and they went to jail. It was stupid, arrogant and dangerous, dangerous even for you protesters, as some unpleasant consequences may have befallen you fools If my wife was caught in that traffic and had to pee cheers.
